Moderate or bright, indirect light works perfectly for the snake plant. Low light doesn’t hurt it either; neither does direct sunlight.

Snake plant doesn’t get thirsty too often and overwatering will rot the plant. Let the soil dry before you water it, around once each month.

The plant won’t need any extra humidity. Try to keep the leaves dry even when watering.

It prefers warmer spots but will do fine as long as the temperature is between 55 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

TOXICITY

The snake plant is mildly toxic and can cause gastrointestinal irritation if ingested. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Wipe the leaves with a dry cloth if the plant looks dusty, it will help it absorb more sunlight. Other than that, they’re low-maintenance plants and don’t ask for much.
