Place it next to a window that gets bright, indirect light. This fuss-free plant won’t mind it either if you place it in low light.
WATER
Water it every other day because it’s a moisture-loving plant. Don’t water it though, if the top 1 to 2 inches of soil is still wet.
Rhapis is sensitive to chlorine, fluoride, and boron – allow water to sit for at least a day before using it.
HUMIDITY
Rhapis loves humidity. Mist it daily if the air around the plant is too dry. If you see brown tips on leaves, it suggests that either the air is too dry or the watering pattern is irregular.
TEMPERATURE
Normal room temperature works fine for the plant. Other than that, it’ll live through a wide range of temperatures; you’ll just have to observe how it reacts to the surrounding temperature.
TOXICITY
It’s not toxic to animals or humans, but ingestion causes discomfort. Keep the plant far from the reach of children and pets.
EXTRA LOVE
Trim of the lower leaves as they start to show signs of ageing and the colour becomes a bit off.
