It grows best in bright, indirect light but will also survive partial shade. If you’re placing it at a south-facing window, allow a few meters distance from the window. Place it closer to the window, if it’s east or west-facing.
WATER
A moist soil works best for the plant. Water once or twice a week and allow the soil to dry between waterings. Water enough to let the excess drain out from the pan.
HUMIDITY
The plant appreciates humidity; you can either mist it regularly or place it over a pebble tray.
TEMPERATURE
Normal room temperature works well for our Livistona.
TOXICITY
The plant isn’t toxic; it’s safe around children and pets.
EXTRA LOVE
Remove brown leaves now and then to promote healthier growth. Fertilize it once a month followed by watering.
