It will grow best in bright, indirect light; you can place it next to a south or north-facing window. The plant can also tolerate full sun once it has established. If the leaves start burning though, move it to indirect sunlight.
WATER
Licuala Grandis loves water and will need a drink every day. Keep the soil moist at all times.
HUMIDITY
The plant likes it humid, misting it once a week will do the trick.
TEMPERATURE
It prefers warmer spots, but normal room temperature won’t bother it either. Don’t place it near air-conditioning or heating vents. The plant doesn’t like hot or cold air blown directly at it.
TOXICITY
It’s found to be toxic to cats. Also, it has sharp edges that can cut skin. Keep it away from pets and children.
EXTRA LOVE
Wipe dust off your plant regularly with a damp cloth.
