LIGHT

Medium to bright, indirect light is good for the plant, but it can also adapt to lower light.

WATER

Water it once weekly, but if the topsoil is still moist, your Giganteum does not, yet, need water. Let the soil dry at least 2 inches from the surface before watering it. Water it less often if the temperatures are low.

HUMIDITY

The usual house humidity is sufficient for the plant, but it gives shinier foliage and healthier growth with regular misting.

TEMPERATURE

Giganteum works well in normal room temperature. It can tolerate a wide range of temperatures. After placing it in a room, you’ll have to give some time to observe how it will react to the surrounding temperature.

TOXICITY

The plant isn’t toxic, but since it contains calcium oxalate that can cause irritation if ingested, you need to keep it away from children and animals.

EXTRA LOVE

Watch out for the leaves; if they’re turning yellow, you may be overwatering it. Give it a few days for the soil to dry before watering it. If the leaves start to droop, they’re not getting enough water.
