Dracaena Marginata likes exposure to bright, filtered light. Don’t put it out under the full sun because it can burn the leaves. The plant can tolerate low light but may produce smaller leaves in milder color.

Brown tips on the leaves indicate you’re overwatering the plant. Yellow leaves suggest that it’s thirsty. Let the top few inches of the soil dry out between waterings.

Dracaena Marginata isn’t poisonous to humans but highly toxic to cats and dogs. Make sure your pets don’t munch on the leaves since it can cause vomiting and abnormally high salivation.

Feed it with a diluted liquid houseplant fertilizer twice a month and repot the plant in two to three years as they outgrow their existing home. Additionally, remove any compacted soil each year and replace it with fresh potting soil.
