BAMBOO PALM CARE GUIDE

LIGHT
It won’t mind growing in shade, but bright, indirect light will make it taller and with healthier fronds.

WATER
It loves moisture so remember to water it often, whenever the soil feels dry. Let the excess water drain out in the drainage tray and empty it — never let it sit in still water. Overwatering isn’t a good idea as it can rot the roots.
Tip: Dip your finger for about an inch to check if the soil is dry, if it is – then it’s time to water. Eventually, you will get the hang of your plant’s schedule.

HUMIDITY
Native to northeastern and central Mexico, it’s a moisture-loving species. Mist it periodically to add moisture to its surrounding air.

TEMPERATURE
65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit is the ideal growing temperature.

TOXICITY
Foliage isn’t toxic to animals or humans, but don’t let the pets feast on its berries as it might bring upon tummy problems.

EXTRA LOVE
Prune it to remove dried and unhealthy fronds once the plant grows bigger.
